Suitable for all tap water

CLARIS White operates on the professional upflow principle and filters precisely the amount of water needed for preparation. With their revolutionary new formula, the filter cartridges are perfectly suited for all tap water worldwide. The granules filter limescale to an always optimal level (even with soft water) and reduce all harmful substances more effectively than ever before. Mineral salts and fluorides, which play an important role as flavor enhancers, are fully preserved. Thanks to optimal limescale stabilization and effective filtration of harmful substances, CLARIS provides maximum water quality for coffee with a perfect aroma.

When used correctly, CLARIS makes descaling completely unnecessary. This improves your convenience and saves you valuable time. By keeping the pipes clean and preventing limescale deposits on the pump and heating elements, CLARIS is proven to extend the life of your coffee machine and helps maintain its value.

Due to their composition and flow rate, only original CLARIS filter cartridges are perfectly compatible with JURA automatic coffee machines. When purchasing, always check for the JURA quality label. You won't regret it.

This cartridge was specially developed for JURA automatic specialty coffee machines. Placed directly in the water tank, it is coffee-neutral.

The CLARIS White cartridge, on the other hand, is used with machines where the filter holder located in the water tank is black.

Filtration capacity

CLARIS provides the ideal water for perfect coffee specialties. The capacity of a filter cartridge depends on the water hardness.

• at 1-5° dH: up to 65 l

• at 6-10° dH: up to 60 l

• at 11-15° dH: up to 55 l

• at 16-20° dH: up to 50 l

• at 21-25° dH: up to 45 l

• at 26-30° dH: up to 40 l

TÜV-certified hygiene for consistently perfect coffee

The independent international inspection body TÜV Rheinland has awarded JURA a certificate attesting to the microbiologically flawless quality of its automatic machines. This certificate, awarded according to extremely strict criteria, demonstrates that JURA's certified maintenance products, precisely adapted to electronically controlled programs, guarantee TÜV-certified cleanliness and hygiene for all JURA coffee machines.

Limescale: a source of breakdowns and a destroyer of taste

Limescale builds up when water is heated. It narrows the diameter of the pipes, which lengthens heating times and increases power consumption, and can even lead to a complete machine breakdown. Limescale also affects the taste of coffee. In small quantities, it is an important flavor enhancer. However, a high limescale content in water gives it an unpleasant aftertaste and thus prevents, also due to temperature variations, the optimal development of the coffee's aromas.

CLARIS makes descaling unnecessary

Water quality is a decisive taste factor, as coffee is 98% water. In addition to calcium, mineral salts, and fluorides, tap water often also contains traces of lead, copper, aluminum, and chlorine. Directly placed in the water tank, the CLARIS filter cartridge filters the water just before each preparation. Harmful substances are completely absorbed, while important fluorides are retained and play a decisive role as flavor enhancers when the aromas unfold. An optimal water composition makes every coffee specialty a rich taste experience. CLARIS also makes descaling completely unnecessary.
