Frequently Asked Questions
01. Are your packages recyclable?
Yes! To be recyclable, packaging must be made of a single material. Also, the packaging must be handled and processed by your local sorting center. Our mono-material LDPE packaging, developed with the experts at Polypro, complies with American and European recycling standards, which gives them the best recyclability potential to date.
02. What are your recyclable bags made of?
Our recyclable bags are made exclusively from low-density polyethylene, commonly known as LDPE (number 4). The degassing valve and zipper are also made from LDPE. The paper label is affixed with a water-soluble adhesive to facilitate its separation from the packaging during sorting.
03. What does "Fairtrade" mean?
The FAIRTRADE label on products means that international Fairtrade standards have been met. Through certification, farmers and workers improve their lives and have more power over their future. Fairtrade works with farmers to negotiate a better deal, enabling them to build their businesses and invest in their communities.
