    Terms and Conditions

All coffee machines, grinders, and accessories, regardless of model, brand, or technology, are not guaranteed against damage due to freezing, limescale buildup, or any other cause resulting from use contrary to instructions provided by EDIKA Imports or the manufacturer's user manual.

To activate the warranty, you must first contact us so that we can diagnose the problem and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (#RMA) number. The item must then be sent to us and will be inspected by a qualified technician. EDIKA will then precisely determine the cause of the problem and decide whether to repair or replace the product, before returning it to you.

In this scenario, it is imperative to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (#RMA) number and instructions from Edika before taking any action. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Please note that the warranties for our products do not apply to purchases made from the United States.

For more information regarding your product's warranty, contact us by email at info@edika.com or by phone at 514 374-0683 or 1-877-521-8452

    JURA

JURA automatic residential espresso machines are guaranteed for two (2) years from the original date of purchase or up to 6000 coffees, whichever comes first.

The JURA warranty covers all new JURA commercial and semi-commercial automatic coffee machines for one (1) year or the first number reached:

    WE8: 11000 preparations

    X8: 18000 preparations

    GIGA W3: 25000 preparations

    GIGA X8: 33000 preparations

    GIGA X8c: 40000 preparations

For residential machines used in a commercial setting, the warranty is one (1) year from the original date of purchase. All JURA accessories are guaranteed for twenty-five (25) months from the original date of purchase.

The warranty on new JURA products applies:

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the "manufacturer's" warranty will only be granted if the JURA machine is purchased from one of JURA's authorized dealers.

    - Defects will be remedied by JURA during the warranty period; warranty service will be performed, at JURA's option, by refurbishment (repair), exchange of defective parts, or exchange of the machine. The performance of warranty services does not lead to an extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of JURA.

    - Warranty services are excluded in cases of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling or transport, repair or modification performed by unauthorized persons, or non-compliance with operating instructions. In particular, the warranty does not apply if JURA's service and maintenance instructions are not observed or if maintenance products other than JURA water filters, cleaning tablets, and descaling tablets are used that do not comply with the original specifications. Wear parts (such as seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from foreign objects in the grinder (e.g., stones, wood, paper clips).

    - The purchase invoice, indicating the date of purchase and machine type, is proof of warranty entitlement.

To simplify the procedure, the purchase invoice should, if possible, also include the following information: buyer's name and address, and the machine's serial number.

    - The "manufacturer's" warranty is 12 months if the end customer is a company, a legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic context.

    - Before any transport, the machine must absolutely be emptied of its water: refer to the JURA transport procedure according to the model to avoid any risk of freezing, which is not covered by the warranty.

    - This warranty does not cover transportation costs or transportation risks directly or indirectly related to the product warranty.

The JURA Canada warranty on new machines applies only to machines purchased in Canada. This warranty covers all defects in materials or workmanship at our JURA service center in Montreal (parts and labor).

    This warranty does not cover:

    - Jura products not distributed by JURA in Canada

    - Jura products not purchased from an authorized dealer

    - Jura products purchased via EBay, Amazon, Kijiji, classifieds, etc.

    - Damage caused by accident, abuse, negligence, or misuse

    - Any use contrary to the instructions in the machine's instruction manual

    - Any service or alteration performed by an unauthorized person or company

    - Any damage caused by negligence or failure to perform maintenance, cleaning, and decalcification recommended by JURA

    - Problems arising from accidental damage, negligence, water and fire, improper ventilation, or misuse or any cause beyond Jura's control.

    - Any damage caused by the use of instant coffee or any other unauthorized ingredient.

    - Defects will be remedied by Edika during the warranty period, with the warranty service being carried out, at Edika's discretion, by repair or exchange of defective parts. The performance of warranty services does not extend or renew the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of Edika.

    - Warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from non-compliant connection, improper handling or transport, repair or modification carried out by unauthorized persons, as well as failure to comply with the operating instructions.

    - The warranty does not apply if LELIT's service and maintenance instructions are not observed or if cleaning products other than LELIT approved cleaning products are used.

    - Wear parts (such as seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as are damages resulting from the presence of foreign objects in the grinder (e.g., stones, wood, paperclips).

    - Heating elements opened as a result of overheating due to lack of water are in no way covered by the warranty.

    - The purchase invoice indicating the date of purchase and the type of machine is proof of the right to warranty. The purchase invoice must include the following information: name and address of the authorized dealer and the buyer, as well as the serial number of the machine.

    - The warranty is six (6) months if the end customer is a company, a legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic context.

    - Warranty services will be performed in Canada. For machines that have been purchased in Canada and then taken to another country, services and warranty will not be honored.

    - This warranty covers transportation costs but not transportation risks. Edika will in no way be responsible for breakage due to improper packaging; original packaging is highly recommended.

    - Before any transport, the machine must be completely emptied of its water: refer to the LELIT transport procedure according to the model to avoid any risk of freezing, which is not covered by the warranty.
