    Conditions générales

    Toutes les machines à café, les moulins et les accessoires, quels que soient le modèle, la marque ou la technologie, ne sont pas garanties contre les bris dus au gel, l’accumulation de calcaire ou à toute autre cause due à une utilisation contraire aux instructions fournies par Les importations EDIKA ou au mode d’emploi fourni par le fabricant.

    Pour activer la garantie, vous devez en premier lieu nous contacter pour que nous puissions diagnostiquer le problème et vous donner un numéro d'autorisation de retour de marchandise (#RMA). L'article devra alors nous être envoyé et sera vérifié par un technicien qualifié. EDIKA déterminera alors précisément la cause du problème et décidera de réparer ou remplacer le produit, avant de vous le renvoyer.

    Il est impératif dans ce cas de figure d’obtenir un numéro d'autorisation de retour de marchandise (#RMA) et les instructions de la part d’Edika avant toute initiative. Les retours non autorisés ne sont pas acceptés.

    Veuillez noter que les garanties de nos produits ne s'appliquent pas pour les achats effectués depuis les États-Unis.

    JURA

    Les machines espresso résidentielles automatiques JURA sont garanties deux (2) ans à partir de la date d’achat initiale ou jusqu'à 6000 cafés, selon le premier chiffre atteint.

    La garantie JURA couvre toutes les nouvelles machines à café automatiques commerciales et semi-commerciales JURA pendant un (1) an ou selon le premier chiffre atteint :

    WE8 : 11000 preparations

    X8 : 18000 preparations

    GIGA W3 : 25000 preparations

    GIGA X8 : 33000 preparations

    GIGA X8c : 40000 preparations


    Pour les machines résidentielles utilisées dans un cadre commercial, la garantie est de un (1) anà partir de la date d’achat initiale.Tous les accessoires JURA sont garantis vingt-cinq (25) moisà partir de la date d’achat initiale.

    La garantie sur les produits JURA neuf est applicable :

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the "manufacturer's" warranty will only be granted if the JURA machine is purchased from one of JURA's authorized dealers.

    - Defects will be rectified by JURA during the warranty period, with the warranty service being provided, at JURA's discretion, by repair, exchange of defective parts or exchange of the machine. The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of JURA.

    - Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling, transport, repair or conversion by unauthorized persons, or failure to observe the operating instructions. In particular, the warranty does not apply if JURA's operating and maintenance instructions are not observed or if care products other than JURA water filters, JURA cleaning tablets and JURA descaling tablets are used which do not correspond to the original specifications. Wearing parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the grinder (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips).

    - The purchase invoice, indicating the date of purchase and the type of machine, is proof of warranty entitlement.

    Pour simplifier la procédure, la facture d'achat devrait comporter, si possible, en supplément, les indications suivantes : nom et adresse de l'acheteur ainsi que le numéro de série de la machine.

    - The manufacturer's warranty is 12 months if the end customer is a company or legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic context.

    - Before transporting, the machine must be drained of all water: refer to the JURA transport procedure according to the model to avoid any risk of freezing, which is not covered by the warranty.

    - This warranty does not cover transportation costs or risks directly or indirectly related to the product warranty.



    La garantie JURA Canada sur les machines neuves s'applique uniquement sur les machines achetées au Canada. Cette garantie couvre tous les défauts de matériaux ou de fabrication à notre centre de service JURA de Montréal (pièces et main d'œuvre).


    Cette garantie ne couvre pas:

    - Jura products not distributed by JURA in Canada

    - Jura products that have not been purchased from an authorized reseller

    - Jura products purchased through EBay, Amazon, Kijiji, PACs, etc.

    - Damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect or misuse

    - Any use contrary to the instructions contained in the machine's instruction manual

    - Any service or alteration performed by an unauthorized person or company

    - Damage caused by neglect or omission of maintenance, cleaning and decalcification recommended by JURA.

    - Problems arising from accidental damage, neglect, water and fire, poor ventilation, or misuse or any cause beyond JURA's control.

    - Any damage caused by the use of instant coffee or any other unauthorized ingredient.

  • 03.

    LELIT

    La garantie sur les produits LELIT est de 1 (un) an à compter de la date initiale d’achat.

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the “manufacturer's” warranty will only be granted if the machine est acquise auprès de l’un des revendeurs agréés LELIT par Edika.

    - Defects will be rectified by Edika during the warranty period, with warranty service being provided, at Edika's option, by repair or exchange of defective parts. The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of Edika.

    - Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from incorrect connection, improper handling, transport, repair or conversion by unauthorized persons, or failure to observe the operating instructions.

    - The warranty does not apply if the LELIT service and maintenance instructions are not followed or if cleaning products other than LELIT approved cleaning products are used.

    - Wear parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the mill (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips).

    - Under no circumstances are heating elements opened as a result of overheating due to lack of water covered by the warranty.

    - Proof of warranty entitlement must be provided in the form of an invoice showing the date of purchase and the type of machine. The invoice must include the name and address of the authorized dealer and of the purchaser, as well as the machine's serial number.

    - The warranty period is six (6) months if the end customer is a company, a legal entity or if the machine is not used in a domestic context.

    - Warranty services will be provided in Canada. For machines purchased in Canada and taken to another country, warranty benefits will not be honored.

    - This warranty covers transport costs but not transport risks. Edika will not be held responsible for damage caused by improper packaging, the original packaging being strongly recommended.

    - Before any transport, the machine must be emptied of its water: refer to the LELIT transport procedure according to the model in order to avoid any risk of freezing which is not covered by the warranty.

    EVERSYS

    La garantie est de douze (12) mois sur les pièces et la main d’œuvre à compter de la date initiale d’achat.

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the “manufacturer's” warranty will only be granted if the machine Eversys acquired from one of our authorized Eversys par Edika ou par Edika directement.

    - Manufacturing defects will be rectified by Edika during the warranty period, with warranty service being provided, at Edika's option, by repair or exchange of defective parts. The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of EDIKA for the duration of the warranty..

    - Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from incorrect connection, improper handling, transport, repair or conversion by unauthorized persons, or failure to observe the operating instructions. The warranty does not apply if the operating and maintenance instructions of Eversys ne sont pas observées ou si des produits d’entretien autres que les produits de nettoyage approuvés Eversys ne sont pas employés. Les pièces d’usure (comme les joints, les disques de broyage, les clapets) sont également exclues de la garantie de même que les dommages résultant de la présence de corps étrangers dans le broyeur (pierres, bois, trombones par exemple). Les éléments chauffants éclatés suite à une surchauffe par manque d’eau ne sont en aucun cas garantis.

    - The warranty does not cover breakage due to limescale.

    - The Edika sales invoice showing the date of purchase and type of machine is proof of warranty entitlement.

    - Warranty services will be provided in Canada. For machines purchased in Canada and taken to another country, warranty benefits will not be honored.

    - Any risk of freezing is not covered by the warranty.

    - Moving rates after 12 months are variable ($55.00 for Montreal) depending on location, and service fees are $100.00 per hour. Prices are subject to change without notice.

    - Service calls must be placed to 514-374-0683 or 1-877-521-8452 and verified by agreement with EDIKA in order for the warranty to be applicable. No warranty will be honored without agreement from Edika.

  • 05.

    CONTI

    La garantie est de douze (12) mois sur la main d’œuvre et vingt-quatre (24) mois sur les pièces à compter de la date initiale d’achat.

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the “manufacturer's” warranty will only be granted if the Conti machine is purchased from one of Edika's authorized Conti dealers or by Edika directly.

    - Manufacturing defects will be rectified by Edika during the warranty period, with warranty service being provided, at Edika's option, by repair or exchange of defective parts. The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of Edika.

    - Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling or transport, repair or conversion by unauthorized persons, or from failure to observe the operating instructions. The warranty does not apply if Conti's operating and maintenance instructions are not followed, or if cleaning products other than Conti's approved cleaning products are not used. Wearing parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs, flaps) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the mill (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips). Under no circumstances are heating elements burst as a result of overheating due to lack of water covered by the warranty.

    - The warranty does not cover breakage due to limescale.

    - The Edika sales invoice showing the date of purchase and type of machine is proof of warranty entitlement.

    - Warranty services will be provided in Canada. For machines purchased in Canada and taken to another country, warranty benefits will not be honored.

  • 06.

    QUAMAR

    The warranty is for twelve (12) months on parts and labor from the initial date of purchase.

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the “manufacturer's” warranty will only be granted if the Quamar machine is purchased from one of Edika's authorized Quamar dealers or by Edika directly.

    - Manufacturing defects will be eliminated by Edika during the warranty period, the warranty service being performed, at EDIKA's option, by reconditioning (repair) or exchange of defective parts. The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of Edika throughout the warranty period.

    Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling, transport, repair or conversion by unauthorized persons, or failure to observe the operating instructions. The warranty does not apply if Quamar's operating and maintenance instructions are not followed, or if cleaning products other than Quamar's approved cleaning products are not used. Wear parts (e.g. seals, grinding discs, flaps) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the grinder (e.g. stones, wood, paper clips).

    - The Edika sales invoice with indication of date of purchase and machine type is proof of warranty entitlement.

    - Warranty benefits will be performed in Canada. For machines that have been purchased in Canada and then taken to another country, the benefits and warranty will not be honored.

    - Any risk of freezing is not covered by the warranty.

    - Travel rates after 12 months are variable ($55.00 for Montreal) depending on location and the service hour charge is $100.00. These prices are subject to change without notice.

    - Service calls must be placed to 514-374-0683 or 1-877-521-8452 and controlled by agreement of Edika in order for the warranty to be applicable. No warranty will be honored without Edika's agreement.
