Conditions générales

All the coffee machines, grinders, and accessories, regardless of model, make, or technology, are not guaranteed against breakage due to freezing, accumulation of limescale, or any other cause due to use contrary to the instructions provided by Les importations Édika or contrary to the operating instructions provided by the manufacturer.

To activate the warranty, you must first contact us so that we can diagnose the problem and give you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The item will then have to be sent to us and will be checked by a qualified technician. Édika will then determine the exact cause of the problem and decide to repair or replace the product, before sending it back to you.

In this instance, it is imperative to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions from Édika before taking any initiative. Unauthorized returns are not accepted.

Please note that our product warranties do not apply to purchases made from the United States.

JURA

Les machines espresso résidentielles automatiques JURA sont garanties deux (2) ans à partir de la date d’achat initiale ou jusqu'à 6000 cafés, selon le premier chiffre atteint.

La garantie JURA couvre toutes les nouvelles JURA commercial and semi-commercial automatic coffee machines JURA pendant one (1) year ou selon le premier chiffre atteint :

Pour les machines résidentielles utilisées dans un cadre commercial, la garantie est de un (1) an from the date of initial purchase.

Tous les accessoires JURA sont garantis vingt-cinq (25) mois from the date of initial purchase.

 

La garantie sur les produits JURA neuf est applicable :

  • Pour les produits soumis à une distribution sélective, la garantie « constructeur » ne sera accordée que si la machine JURA est acquise auprès de l'un des revendeurs agréés JURA.
  • Defects will be eliminated by JURA during the warranty period, the warranty service being performed, at JURA's discretion, by repair, replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the machine. The performance of the warranty services does not give rise to an extension or renewal of the warranty period. The parts replaced become the property of JURA.
  • • The warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from non-regulatory hook-up, improper handling or transport, repair or transformation by unauthorized persons as well as failure to comply with the operating instructions. In particular, the warranty does not apply if the service and maintenance instructions of JURA are not followed or if maintenance products other than the JURA water filters, cleaning tablets, and descaling tablets are used, which do not correspond to the original specifications. Wear parts (such as gaskets, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty as well as damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the crusher (stones, wood, paper clips for example).
  • The purchase invoice specifying the date of purchase and the type of machine is proof of warranty entitlement.

In order to simplify the procedure, the purchase invoice should also include the following particulars, if possible: the name and address of the purchaser as well as the serial number of the machine.

  • La garantie « constructeur » est de 12 mois si le client final est une société, une personne morale ou si la machine n'est pas utilisée dans un contexte domestique.
  • Before any transport, the machine must absolutely be emptied of water: refer to the JURA transport procedure according to the model in order to avoid any risk of freezing that is not covered by the warranty.
  • This warranty does not cover transport costs or transport risks directly or indirectly related to the product warranty.



La garantie JURA Canada sur les machines neuves s'applique uniquement sur les machines achetées au Canada. Cette garantie couvre tous les défauts de matériaux ou de fabrication à notre centre de service JURA de Montréal (pièces et main d'œuvre).


This warranty does not cover:

  • JURA products that are not distributed by JURA in Canada.
  • JURA products that have not been purchased from an authorized dealer.
  • JURA products purchased via eBay, Amazon, Kijiji, les PAC, etc.
  • Damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, or misuse.
  • Any use contrary to the instructions contained in the machine's instruction manual.
  • Any service or alteration performed by an unauthorized person or company.
  • Any damage caused by negligence or failure to perform the maintenance, cleaning, and decalcification recommended by JURA.
  • Problems arising from accidental damage, negligence, water and fire, poor ventilation, or misuse, or any cause beyond the control of JURA.
  • Any damage caused by the use of instant coffee or any other unauthorized ingredient.

 

LELIT

La garantie sur les produits LELIT est de 1 (un) an à compter de la date initiale d’achat.

  • For products subject to selective distribution, la garantie « constructeur » ne sera accordée que si la machine LELIT est acquise auprès de l’un des revendeurs agréés LELIT par Edika.
  • Defects will be eliminated by Édika during the warranty period, the warranty service being performed, at Édika's discretion, by repair, replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the machine. The performance of the warranty services does not give rise to an extension or renewal of the warranty period. The parts replaced become the property of Édika.
  • The warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from non-regulatory hook-up, improper handling or transport, repair or transformation by unauthorized persons as well as failure to comply with the operating instructions
  • The warranty does not apply if LELIT's service and maintenance instructions are not followed or if maintenance products other than the approved LELIT cleaning products are used.
  • Wear parts (such as gaskets, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty as well as damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the crusher (stones, wood, paper clips for example).
  • Heating elements opened further to overheating due to lack of water are under no circumstance guaranteed.
  • The purchase invoice specifying the date of purchase and the type of machine is proof of warranty entitlement.The purchase invoice must include the following particulars: the name and address of the authorized dealer and of the purchaser as well as the serial number of the machine.
  • The warranty is six (6) months if the end customer is a company, a legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic context.
  • The warranty services will be performed in Canada. For machines that have been purchased in Canada and then taken to another country, the services and warranty will not be honoured.
  • Cette garantie couvre les frais de transport mais pas les risques de transport. Edika ne sera en aucun cas responsable des bris dûs à un mauvais emballage, l’emballage d’origine étant très fortement recommandé.
  • Before any transport, the machine must absolutely be emptied of its water: refer to the LELIT transport procedure according to the model in order to avoid any risk of freezing that is not covered by the warranty.

 

EVERSYS

The warranty is twelve (12) months on parts and labour from the date of initial purchase.

The performance of the warranty services does not give rise to an extension or renewal of the warranty period. The parts replaced become the property of Édika.
  • Les prestations de garantie sont exclues en cas de dommages ou défauts qui résultent d’un raccordement non réglementaire, d’une manipulation non conforme ou d’un transport, d’une réparation ou d’une transformation réalisée par des personnes non autorisées ainsi que du non-respect des instructions d’utilisation. La garantie ne s’applique pas si les instructions de service et de maintenance de Eversys ne sont pas observées ou si des produits d’entretien autres que les produits de nettoyage approuvés Eversys ne sont pas employés. Les pièces d’usure (comme les joints, les disques de broyage, les clapets) sont également exclues de la garantie de même que les dommages résultant de la présence de corps étrangers dans le broyeur (pierres, bois, trombones par exemple). Les éléments chauffants éclatés suite à une surchauffe par manque d’eau ne sont en aucun cas garantis.

CONTI

The warranty is twelve (12) months on labour and twenty-four (24) months on parts from the date of initial purchase.

  • Defects will be eliminated by Édika during the warranty period, the warranty service being performed, at Édika's discretion, by repair, replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the machine. The performance of the warranty services does not give rise to an extension or renewal of the warranty period. The parts replaced become the property of Édika.
  • The warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from non-regulatory hook-up, improper handling or transport, repair or transformation by unauthorized persons as well as failure to comply with the operating instructions. The warranty does not apply if CONTI's service and maintenance instructions are not followed or if maintenance products other than the approved CONTI cleaning products are used. Wear parts (such as gaskets, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty as well as damage resulting from the presence of foreign bodies in the crusher (stones, wood, paper clips for example). QUAMAR

The warranty is twelve (12) months on parts and labour from the date of initial purchase.

  • Les vices de fabrication seront éliminés par Edika pendant la période de garantie, la prestation de garantie s’effectuant, au choix d’EDIKA, par remise en état (réparation) ou échange des pièces défectueuses. L’exécution des prestations de garantie ne donne pas lieu à prolongation ou renouvellement de la durée de garantie. Les pièces remplacées deviennent la propriété d’Edika tout au long de la garantie.
