    JURA

JURA automatic home espresso machines are guaranteed for two (2) years from the date of original purchase or up to 6,000 coffees, whichever comes first.

The JURA warranty covers all new JURA commercial and semi-commercial automatic coffee machines for one (1) year or whichever comes first:

    WE8: 11,000 preparations

    X8: 18,000 preparations

    GIGA W3: 25,000 preparations

    GIGA X8: 33,000 preparations

    GIGA X8c: 40,000 preparations

For residential machines used in a commercial setting, the warranty is one (1) year from the original purchase date. All JURA accessories are warranted for twenty-five (25) months from the original purchase date.

The warranty on new JURA products applies:

    - For products subject to selective distribution, the “manufacturer's” warranty will only be granted if the JURA machine is purchased from one of JURA's authorized dealers. Defects will be remedied by JURA during the warranty period. The warranty service will be provided, at JURA's discretion, by repair, replacement of defective parts, or replacement of the machine. The provision of warranty services does not result in an extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of JURA. - Warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling or transport, repair or modification by unauthorized persons, or failure to follow the operating instructions. In particular, the warranty does not apply if JURA's operating and maintenance instructions are not followed or if cleaning products other than JURA water filters, cleaning tablets, and descaling tablets are used that do not meet the original specifications. Wear parts (such as seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as is damage resulting from foreign objects in the grinder (e.g., stones, wood, paper clips).

    - The purchase invoice, indicating the date of purchase and the type of machine, is proof of warranty entitlement. To simplify the procedure, the purchase invoice should, if possible, also include the following information: the name and address of the purchaser and the serial number of the machine. - The manufacturer's warranty is valid for 12 months if the end customer is a company or legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic setting. - Before transport, the machine must be emptied of water: refer to the JURA transport procedure for the model in question to avoid any risk of freezing, which is not covered by the warranty. - This warranty does not cover transportation costs or transportation risks directly or indirectly related to the product warranty. The JURA Canada warranty on new machines applies only to machines purchased in Canada. This warranty covers all defects in materials or workmanship at our JURA service center in Montreal (parts and labor).

    This warranty does not cover:

    - Jura products that are not distributed by JURA in Canada

    - Jura products that were not purchased from an authorized dealer

    - Jura products purchased via eBay, Amazon, Kijiji, PAC, etc.

    - Damage caused by accident, abuse, negligence, or misuse

    - Any use contrary to the instructions contained in the machine's instruction manual. - Any service or alteration performed by an unauthorized person or company. - Any damage caused by negligence or failure to perform maintenance, cleaning, and descaling recommended by JURA. - Problems arising from accidental damage, negligence, water and fire, poor ventilation, or misuse, or any cause beyond JURA's control. - Any damage caused by the use of instant coffee or any other unauthorized ingredient.

The performance of warranty services does not give rise to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Replaced parts become the property of Edika.

    - Warranty services are excluded in the event of damage or defects resulting from improper connection, improper handling or transport, repair or modification by unauthorized persons, or failure to follow the instructions for use.

    - The warranty does not apply if LELIT's operating and maintenance instructions are not followed or if cleaning products other than those approved by LELIT are used.

    - Wear parts (such as seals, grinding discs, valves) are also excluded from the warranty, as are damages resulting from the presence of foreign objects in the shredder (e.g., stones, wood, paper clips).

    - Heating elements that have been opened due to overheating caused by a lack of water are not covered by the warranty under any circumstances.

    - The purchase invoice, indicating the date of purchase and the type of machine, is proof of entitlement to the warranty. The purchase invoice must include the following information: name and address of the authorized dealer and the purchaser, as well as the serial number of the machine. - The warranty period is six (6) months if the end customer is a company, a legal entity, or if the machine is not used in a domestic setting. - Warranty services will be performed in Canada. For machines purchased in Canada and then taken to another country, services and warranty will not be honored. - This warranty covers transportation costs but not transportation risks. Edika will not be liable for any damage due to improper packaging, as the original packaging is strongly recommended. - Before any transport, the machine must be completely drained of water: refer to the LELIT transport procedure for the model in question to avoid any risk of freezing, which is not covered by the warranty.
