The Z10 with P.R.G. revolutionizes the preparation of hot and cold brew coffee specialties
A true masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the new Z10 doubles the range of coffee specialties available. It prepares the full range of hot products, from intense espresso to trendy flat white, at the touch of a button. And with Cold Brew specialties, it opens up a whole parallel universe of coffee pleasure. These innovations are made possible by the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the selected specialty and precisely adjusts the grind fineness in an instant.
JURA has also developed the Cold Extraction Process, a new refreshing process, literally. Cold water is injected through the freshly ground coffee in slow, high-pressure pulses. The result reveals coffee in a whole new light – refreshing, energizing, with a wonderfully balanced aroma.
This top-of-the-line machine of all superlatives is controlled using a 4.3" touch display that is twice as fast, combined with the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch. The Speciality Selection menu and artificial intelligence make its use particularly simple and intuitive. The sculptural design of the Z10 reflects the great technological advancements it contains. Its convex-concave front panel testifies to its extreme manufacturing precision, with great attention to detail. An embodiment of absolute quality, the Z10 is a magnificent expression of good taste.
The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)
To ensure optimum grinding for every specialty, JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). This electronically controlled precision grinder adjusts in a fraction of a second to the preselected fineness – with a speed and frequency that would be impossible to achieve manually.
The adjustment range extends from very fine for short classics to very coarse for extended specialties. But coffee lovers don't have to worry about any of this: the adjustment is made automatically each time a beverage is prepared. And thanks to the Aroma Selection function, it is also possible to select the desired value before each preparation.
Cold Brew Technology: Freshness at its Peak
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares authentic cold brew specialties. Most conventional cold beverages are made with hot-brewed coffee that is then cooled.
On the Z10, however, extraction is performed with pulsed cold water at high pressure and a generally coarser grind. The result in the cup: a refreshing and naturally energizing drink that highlights the coffee's fruity aromas without crushing them with bitter substances. Anything but a simple iced coffee!
An 8th-generation percolation unit
The brewing unit is the heart of an automatic coffee machine. The one in the Z10 represents the eighth generation designed by JURA.
Thanks to its unique 3D brewing technology, water flows evenly through the ground coffee at multiple levels. This extracts the maximum aroma, for both hot specialties and cold brew beverages.
