A growing global movement
On the Rise
The Fairtrade movement gains momentum year after year, driven by a collective awareness of the importance of sustainability and ethics in our consumer choices. More and more consumers around the world are looking for ethical and sustainable products like Fairtrade coffee, and their numbers continue to grow.

Fairtrade in Numbers
The numbers speak for themselves: since 2015, over US$646 million in Fairtrade premiums have been generated, directly benefiting coffee producers. These funds are reinvested into their businesses, communities, and livelihoods, enabling tangible and sustainable improvements. These investments can take the form of new agricultural technologies, education programs, improved healthcare, or even access to clean drinking water.
Today, the Fairtrade system includes 663 producer organizations representing nearly 900,000 producers across 63 countries. Among them, 18% are women, demonstrating continuous efforts for gender equity within the movement. Fairtrade actively works to strengthen the role of women in agriculture, promote their leadership, and ensure their equitable access to resources and benefits.

More Than Just Coffee
The Fairtrade movement is not limited to coffee. It encompasses a variety of products, including tea, chocolate, bananas, sugar, and many others. Every Fairtrade product you buy helps support the same system of values and commitments. This means that every time you choose a Fairtrade product, you have a positive impact on many supply chains and on the lives of many producers around the world.
The success of the Fairtrade movement is also due to the collaboration between producers, traders, retailers, and consumers. It's a global partnership aimed at changing the way international trade is conducted. It's about placing people and the environment at the heart of economic concerns, and working together to create a fairer and more sustainable system.
