The “Édika and Les Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et Montréal” competition (the “contest”) is organized by Les Importations Édika Inc. and takes place in Quebec, starting September 12, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. ET, until September 16 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

For the purposes of the competition, the “group” is made up of Les Importations Édika Inc., its subsidiaries including in particular its parent companies, sisters and subsidiaries, retailers, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of equipment and related services in this Contest, as well as their respective employees, agents and representatives (the “Class Members”).

This competition is open to anyone who:

(i) resides in Quebec;
(ii) is eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the competition.

Excluded are members of the group as well as employees of any company, organization or company collaborating in this competition, representatives or agents, advertising and promotion agents as well as their immediate family and the people with whom they are domiciled.

4.3 A limit of one (1) entry per person, per email address, civic address, and telephone number is permitted for the entire duration of the competition. In the event that a person registers, in any way, more than once, their participation will be canceled for the entire duration of the competition;

4.4 If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the account holder of the email address used at the time of entry will be determined to be the entrant. The person to whom an email address has been assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domains associated with the submitted email address is considered to be the registrant. of the authorized account.

Odds of winning are one per valid entry received.

6.1 The winner will be selected by a random drawing from all valid entries received between September 12, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. ET, and September 16, 2024, 11:59 p.m. ET.

6.2 The draw will be carried out the week of September 16, 2024, in the Édika offices in Montreal.

6.3 The winner will be contacted by email within two (2) working days following the draw date. The winner will have four (4) working days following the draw date to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be reached after a reasonable number of attempts, he or she will be forfeited, and another winner will be chosen by drawing lots in accordance with these rules. The name of the winner will be available on Édika’s social media.

A one-year subscription to Touché house brand coffee, including three (3) 300g bags per month for twelve (12) months, from October 2024 to September 2025. The average value of the win is $1,800 CAD plus tax.

9.1 Failure to comply with each of the conditions set out in paragraph 8 above will result in the selected entrant being disqualified and ineligible to receive any prize. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select another entrant as the potential prize winner.

9.2 Taking possession of the prize: Upon receipt of the declaration and release of liability form signed by the selected participant, the sponsor or its representatives will contact the winner to inform them of the terms and conditions for taking possession of their prize.

10.1 Verification of registrations

The validity of any entry is subject to verification by the Sponsor. Any entry that is illegible, incomplete, or made in a fraudulent manner will be disqualified. Any decision of the contest judges, including any question of eligibility or disqualification, is final. Entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned.

10.2 Acceptance of the price

The prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be returned or substituted for another prize, nor exchanged in whole or in part for cash.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and for any reason, to substitute a prize or portion thereof with a prize of equivalent or greater value, including the value of the cash prize.

10.4 Prizes/Winners

By participating in this Contest, each entrant acknowledges that Class Members will not be required to award more prizes than the number of prizes available, as set forth in the Official Contest Rules. Group Members assume no liability of any kind for events beyond their control. They reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part.

10.5 Advertising

By entering this competition, the winner authorizes the Group Members to broadcast, publish and use their name, photograph, likeness, statement relating to the competition or any prize, place of residence and/or voice for publicity purposes, without any form of remuneration.

10.6 Personal information

Personal information collected about participants in connection with this contest is used solely for the administration of this contest. No communication unrelated to this competition will be sent to the participant by Les Importations Édika Inc., unless the participant has given his consent to this effect.

10.7 Exemption from liability

By participating in this competition, each participant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Group Members from any claim, action, damage, demand or liability of any nature whatsoever arising from their participation in the competition.
