MAIN TASKS OF THE POSITION

  • Provide service in the workshop or on the road if necessary, with a view to increasing profitability and visibility, and ensuring that we offer a top-of-the-range experience to each and every one of our customers.
  • Your mission is to provide our customers with outstanding service, presentation and professionalism.

SECONDARY DUTIES OF THE POSITION

  • Liability for temporary disruption of JURA and LELIT workshops.
  • Demonstrate proactivity in optimizing production resources and machine repairs

DUTIES RELATED TO THE POSITION

  • On-site repair service for espresso machines and related equipment
  • On-site equipment installation and programming service
  • Training on the use and maintenance of customer equipment
  • Ensure invoicing with parts codes;
  • Send photos of calls and findings after each call.
  • Store tools, workbench and truck properly;
  • Produce machine input/output diagnostics;
  • Assist in the turnover of reconditioned parts.
  • Maintain all equipment available for workshop and truck work.
  • Work in collaboration with the sales team
  • Suggest ways of improving service with a view to continuous improvement.
  • Follow the procedures described in the Service Call Procedure Sheet on the road
  • And all other procedures related to the position

Ensure optimum cleanliness:

  • Clean truck and workbench every week (empty garbage cans and anything else lying around)
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper use of tools, work benches and truck at all times
  • Ensure complete, top-notch customer service 
  • Clean truck cab daily.
  • Demonstrate meticulous presentation, whether in dress, body or language;
    Be friendly with customers;
  • Answer customer questions accurately and completely;
  • Manage priorities and respond calmly and professionally to customers;
  • Regularly improve knowledge of Edika products through company literature and in-house training;
  • Diligently manage the parts in the truck, returning parts to the office when not required.
  • Do not overload your truck with unnecessary parts.

STATION SUPPORT DUTIES, IN THE ABSENCE OF A DEDICATED PERSON

Service support:

  • Provide punctual support in the absence of a member of staff if necessary
  • Assist customers by e-mail and telephone (calls and e-mails forwarded by the technical manager)
  • Send confirmation and follow up on work orders in the absence of the technical manager
  • Make service calls on machines arriving by transport

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • French/English bilingualism an asset
  • Good technical knowledge and a gifted mind for repairs and a passion for coffee
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good presentation and good delivery,Rigor and courtesy
  • Passion for the job
  • Experience or knowledge of coffee machines and its industry in Quebec (an asset),Level of study: DEC in electromechanics
