Accounting Technician

Under the supervision of the General Manager, you will be responsible for the company's general accounting.

This position is available now and is a full-time position for 40 hours per week.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Accounts payable :

  • Invoice verification (validations, amounts, tax numbers, addresses, dates, order numbers, and payment preparation)
  • Payment of suppliers
  • Verification of reseller Spiff requests
  • Verification of visa card invoices, registration in the accounting system
    Validation of internal expenses and payments
  • Monitoring of available visa amounts and control of limits exceeded
  • Planning for purchase of USD and EURO currencies

Accounts receivable :

  • Follow-up and dunning of customers for payment
  • Send statements of account twice a month
  • Prepare and send internal report every Friday
  • Print deposit slips daily
  • Remote deposit of cheques received
  • Apply direct deposit payments daily
  • Daily verification of showroom sales and countdown of money to be deposited
  • Application of credits to customers

Payroll :

  • Make payroll every two weeks
  • Verification and follow-up of employee vacations
  • Online DAS settlement twice a month
  • Add or change group insurances when employees arrive or leave 


  • Prepare GST/QST and pay each month
  • Calculate and pay monthly installments
  • Reconcile bank, EURO, USD, petty cash, Paypal, shopify, stripe
  • Verification of credit card amounts according to bank statement
  • Preparation of year-end tax slips (T4, T4A, Relevé 1) for employees
  • Preparation of the 1% training file as and when required, and collection of documents
  • Prepare and ensure the weekly follow-up meeting with the General Manager


  • DEC or AEC or DEP in accounting (preferred)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English
  • 2 years' experience or more
  • Knowledge of Servicentre and Acomba software (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
